About the guild
Welcome home
A grown-up Alliance guild that laughs a lot, fights a lot and goes to bed slightly too late.
Who we are
[Name to be decided] is a bunch of people in their forties (give or take a few winters) who played WoW when it was new and somehow never stopped thinking about it. We have jobs, partners, kids, mortgages and knees that make noises on the stairs.
What we want is simple: a warm, funny guild where you log in and someone says hi, where a wipe ends in laughter instead of blame, and where the Horde knows our name and doesn't like it.
House rules
We're not a roleplay guild. But we chose an RP-PvP realm, and we'll be good neighbours on it.
- Proper names. First name and family name, something that could exist in Azeroth.Aldric Thornwood, yes. Pwnzorlol, no. Officers may ask you to change it.
- Behave in public. No spamming, no meme-names, no real-world politics in /say or /yell. You don't need to speak like a knight, just don't act like a troll (the internet kind).
- Respect the roleplayers. If someone is doing an RP event in Stormwind, don't jump on their table. Play along, or walk on by.
- PvP with honour. Gank all you want, that's the realm we chose. Don't corpse camp lowbies for hours, and take it with a smile when it happens to you.
- Be kind in the guild. Tease, sure. Belittle, never. Everyone was new once, and some of us still are.
- Family first. Real life always wins. Nobody needs to apologise for logging off to deal with it.
Ranks
Titles are silly on purpose. Responsibility isn't.
| Rank | What it means |
|---|---|
| Grand Marshal of the Sofa | Guild master. Final word on disputes, tabards and whose turn it is to buy the guild bank tab. |
| Sergeant of Snacks | Officers. Run events, PvP calls and raids. Keep the peace and the loot list. |
| Old Guard | Veterans who have been around. Trusted with the guild bank and terrible advice. |
| Footman | Full members. The backbone of the house. |
| Squire | New arrivals on a short trial. We get to know you, you get to know us. |
| Second Cousin | Alts. We love them, we just don't invite them to everything. |
